Curt is a senior associate with FMI, investment bankers and management consultants to the engineering and construction industry. As a member of the Investment Banking Group, Curt assists firms with mergers and acquisitions, business valuations and ownership transfer planning. Curt manages FMI’s business valuation practice, where he performs appraisals for all of FMI’s clients in the engineering and construction industry. Prior to joining FMI, Curt was a private equity associate with Kachi Partners, a boutique private equity firm based in Boulder, Colorado, focusing on the acquisition of privately-held companies. In this role, he was involved in various aspects of the acquisition process including the identification and valuation of promising acquisition targets. Prior to his work with Kachi Partners, Curt was a wholesaler of financial products for Jackson National Life. Curt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in kinesiology and a Masters of Business Administration in finance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a Certified Financial Planner® and holds General Principal (Series 24), General Securities Representative (Series 7), and Limited Representative-Investment Banking (Series 79) licenses. He is also an accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). |
