Hunt Davis is an associate in FMI's Investment Banking practice. Hunt works with engineering- and construction-industry firms, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, business valuations and ownership transfer advisory. Hunt has an extensive background in finance, accounting and operations. Prior to joining FMI, Hunt was a member of Wachovia Securities' Leveraged Finance group, where he participated in the origination, structuring, syndication and execution of financing for acquisitions and recapitalizations across a variety of industry sectors. Prior to Wachovia, Hunt was a member of BB&T's corporate credit underwriting team. Previously, Hunt spent several years in business development with a 100-year-old, family-owned company, where he oversaw a management buyout of investors, restructured finance and accounting operations, and established the company’s e-commerce arm. Hunt holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University, where he was a Dean's Scholar and president of the Student Government Association. Hunt also holds a General Securities Representative license (Series 7) from the Securities and Exchange Commission and FINRA. |
