Hunt Davis is a vice president with FMI Captial Advisors, Inc., FMI Corporation's registered Investment Banking subsidiary. Hunt works with engineering and construction industry firms focusing on mergers and acquisitions, including buyer and seller representations, mergers of equals and divestitures of non-core operations. Hunt has an extensive background in finance, accounting and operations. Prior to joining FMI, Hunt was a member of Wachovia Securities' Leveraged Finance group, where he participated in the origination, structuring, syndication and execution of financing for acquisitions and recapitalizations across a variety of industry sectors. Prior to Wachovia, Hunt was a member of BB&T's corporate credit underwriting team. Previously, Hunt spent several years in business development with a 100-year-old, family-owned company, where he oversaw a management buyout of investors, restructured finance and accounting operations, and established the company’s e-commerce arm. Hunt holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University and a master of business administration from Wake Forest University, where he was a Dean's Scholar and president of the Student Government Association. Hunt also holds General Securities Representative licenses Series 79 and 63 from FINRA. |
