Tim Sznewajs is a managing director with FMI Capital Advisors, Inc., FMI Corporation's registered Investment Banking subsidiary. Tim works exclusively with construction industry firms, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and ownership transfer issues. He also serves as the lead shareholder of FMI's Ownership Transition practice. Prior to joining FMI, Tim held a variety of positions in the technology industry, assisting high-growth startup organizations to effectively launch new products and services. Tim has extensive transactions experience, having advised on more than $8 billion of buy- and sell-side engagements as a member of Goldman, Sachs & Co.’s Mergers & Acquisitions Department. Tim graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor of science in economics and received a master of business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, earning high honors from both institutions. Tim also holds a General Securities Representative license (Series 7) from the Securities and Exchange Commission and FINRA. Tim is actively involved in several construction industry groups, including AGC, CFMA, NASBP and others. He serves on the steering committee for the Annual Construction Financial Management Conference, co-sponsored by AGC and CFMA, as well as on the Leadership Development Committee of CFMA. Tim lives in Boulder, Colo., with his wife and three children. |
