Will Hill is a senior managing director of FMI Capital Advisors, Inc., FMI Corporation's registered Investment Banking subsidiary. As the leader of FMI's Investment Banking activities, Will divides his time between supporting the largest team of investment bankers solely focused on the engineering and construction industry and serving clients. Will advises business owners with developing continuity plans, representing companies for sale and providing financial advisory services, such as valuation, executive compensation and capitalization analysis. Will has worked with all types of contractors with their ownership issues, but he is especially familiar with construction materials, heavy civil and industrial contracting firms. He has successfully managed the sale of several companies and has created numerous internal ownership transfer programs for his clients. Will works with his clients to develop ownership exit approaches that will meet the needs of the owner and the employees as well as ensure the long-term success of the business. Prior to joining FMI in 1999, Will developed an extensive background in engineering, construction, corporate development and financial management. He was previously vice president of engineering and construction for an international engineer-procure-construct (EPC) firm building manufacturing facilities in Eastern Europe and Russia. His corporate development and financial management experience includes working in the strategic planning and corporate development departments of major mining and manufacturing firms. While serving in these positions, Will was active in a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions in the construction materials, mining and manufacturing sectors. Will earned a bachelor of science in mining engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a master of business administration in finance from the University of Denver. Will also holds several securities licenses (Series 24, 79, and 63) from the SEC and FINRA. |
