Nonqualified Deferred Compensation

Many companies are beginning to design and implement non-qualified deferred compensation plans (NQDC) to retain key employees and offer an additional tax deferment vehicle for higher income employees. NQDC plans are very effective at tying the pay of key leadership employees to the long-term performance of the company.
