Assessment is the first step in any development initiative. FMI consultants are certified to administer and interpret a wide range of established, well-researched personality, natural-ability and social-ability assessments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI), DiSC® assessment, Emotional Competency inventory® (ECi), Human Patterns® and Firo-B®, among others.
In addition to these assessments, FMI’s VisionView® 360 assessment gives leaders a realistic view of their specific leadership strengths and weaknesses, and how they see themselves compared to how they are perceived by others.
FMI administers these instruments to assess individual leaders, executive-leadership teams, high-performance teams and entire organizations. Assessments can be used for a variety of purposes. Most often, these assessments are used to help individuals and teams identify their unique behavioral characteristics and implications for their leadership. FMI consultants conduct a debrief to discuss results, leadership implications and a course of action for development, if appropriate.
