Ken Wilson



As a director for FMI, Ken's primary focus is helping clients enhance the skills of their management teams. Since joining FMI in 1986, Ken has worked with hundreds of firms to create comprehensive management training programs for people at all levels, including senior executives, business developers, project managers, superintendents, and field managers.

During his career at FMI, Ken has developed an efficient model for the design, development, and delivery of customized training courses to meet the needs of a variety of target audiences. He has expanded FMI's training team resources to include professional trainers and instructional design specialists to provide progressive adult learning services for the construction industry. He has built programs for all types of firms, including general contractors, highway contractors, and specialty trade contractors. He has also worked with public and private owners, engineers, and architects.

Ken is a long-time FMI shareholder and was elected to FMI's board of directors in 2002. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Indiana University. He has actively promoted education and training in the construction industry, working with numerous industry trade organizations, including the Construction Management Association of America, Associated General Contractors. He has also published articles on training in the construction industry in a number of industry publications.
