Scott B. Winstead
As president of FMI Management Consulting, Scott divides his time between serving clients, serving on FMI's Board of Directors and supporting the nation's largest team of management consultants solely focused on the engineering and construction industry.
Clients seek Scott's advice about their unique strategy, business development and organizational development needs. He works with contractors nationwide to develop and implement solutions that drive sustainable profitable growth. Often this involves combining in-depth market and company analysis with judgment and experience to shape the organization's strategic direction. Scott is frequently asked to speak before national trade associations and over the past decade, he has made presentations to several major construction-industry organizations in the United States.
Scott serves on the AGC of America Executive Board, its Service and Supply Council Executive Committee and the Retail Contractors Association Advisory Board. Scott has written numerous articles on strategy and has been published in, and interviewed for, dozens of industry publications.
Scott received his bachelor of arts degree in psychology with a business administration minor and his master of business administration from East Carolina University, where he is a member of the Construction Management School's Advisory Board.
