FMI's U.S. Construction Market Overview focuses primarily on the U.S. domestic construction market, which is also a lagging reflection of the country's economic health. The broad picture is not dramatically different from last year. We remain in difficult times. Notwithstanding, FMI's core purpose as an organization is to have a positive impact on the construction industry and its leading organizations. We can only accomplish that through collaboration with the many leading thinkers and successful organizations that populate the built environment. Our goal is that this publication provides a basis for further collaboration, investigation and planning by and with the industry's best and brightest executives.
