Carter Brenneman is an associate with FMI Capital Advisors, Inc., FMI Corporation’s registered investment banking subsidiary. Carter works with a variety of engineering and construction industry firms on mergers and acquisitions (including both seller and buyer representation), valuations and ownership transfer issues.

Prior to joining FMI, Carter worked as an associate with Brookwood Associates, a middle-market investment bank, focusing on sell-side and buy-side advisory, recapitalization, management buyout and valuation services. Prior to Brookwood Associates, Carter worked in the finance department of Stock Building Supply.

Carter earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in corporate finance and sustainable enterprise from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also holds his Limited Representative-Investment Banking license (Series 79) and Uniform Securities Agent license (Series 63) from the Securities and Exchange Commission and FINRA.
