Mark is a consultant with FMI. As a member of FMI’s Leadership & Organizational Development practice, he is the assistant director of the Leadership Institute.
Mark’s desire is for leaders to think differently about how they respond to the world around them and how they approach leading people. “If we continue to think the way we have always thought, then we will continue to do what we have always done.” He enjoys helping leaders create and execute development plans for professional and personal growth and success.
His focus is to assist emerging leaders by coaching them to understand their leadership style, preferences, abilities and tendencies, and help them discover how to leverage their advantages and meet their challenges.
Prior to joining FMI, Mark served 20 years with the United States Air Force. In his last assignment, Superintendent at the Forrest L. Vosler NCO Academy at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, he assisted over 3000 military members to improve their leader effectiveness.
He is a graduate of Corporate Coach University’s Advanced Corporate Coach program. He received the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coach Federation. The ICF is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards, providing independent certification and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches.
Mark received his bachelor of science degree in workforce education and development from Southern Illinois University.
