As the marketing manager for FMI, Michelle serves as the primary point of contact for marketing initiatives and strategies in regard to professional development programs and courses. In this position Michelle works with FMI leadership and management consulting program owners to identify training needs regarding industry trends. She is the lead for developing proactive marketing strategies for all outgoing professional development program and course marketing content and messaging. Previously, Michelle was the marketing manager for industry partners and associations at FMI. In this role she helped such organizations within the engineering and construction industry accomplish their mission of adding value to their members and clients through timely resources, information and educational opportunities.
Prior to FMI, Michelle gained more than 10 years’ experience in the real estate and residential construction industry, including serving as the director of marketing and communications at the North Carolina Home Builders Association and the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in communication studies from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She also completed a certificate in management from Duke University.
