Steve Darnell has more than 30 years of investment banking experience in the U.S. engineering and construction industry, and is one of the founding members of the firm’s mergers and acquisitions group (FMI Capital Advisors, Inc.).
Since joining FMI in 1979, Steve has completed international transactions in the areas of strategic advisory assignments, mergers, acquisitions and valuations. His work has been instrumental in assisting international engineering and construction firms enter new markets in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
Steve publishes articles and speaks at conferences and industry forums across the nation on international involvement in the U.S. construction industry, acquisition integration and industry trends.
Steve received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from Wake Forest University. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Vietnam and is a member of The Moles.
Steve also holds a General Securities Representative license (Series 7) from the Securities and Exchange Commission and FINRA.
