Luke Smith is a vice president with FMI Capital Advisors, FMI Corporation’s Investment Banking subsidiary. Luke is responsible for executing merger and acquisition advisory and capital formation engagements, working with companies in the building products sector and the broader engineering and construction space.

Prior to joining FMI, Luke was an associate in PMCF’s Denver office where advised middle market companies in connection with mergers and acquisitions. He also previously worked in corporate development for the Construction Supply Group. Luke was also previously an associate in Evercore’s New York office where he advised companies across a variety of industries in connection with mergers and acquisitions, contested shareholder situations, and hostile transactions. Prior to attending business school, Luke served as a Captain in the United States Army.

Luke earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds Investment Banking Representative (Series 79) and Uniform Securities Agent (Series 63) licenses from FINRA and the SEC.
