Wallace’s primary focus at FMI is comprehensive market evaluations and strategy development for clients who are expanding their operations via acquisition, greenfield or major capital investments. He is an experienced strategic planner with a special focus on business development. His market studies involve intensive, “on the ground” analysis of demand and supply factors in defined geographic areas.
Wallace has specific expertise in the construction materials sector, working with pipeline and industrial contractors, and helping companies develop world-class safety cultures. He also facilitates a number of FMI industry peer groups for materials producers, electrical contractors and general contractors.
Wallace has performed numerous market perception surveys for a broad range of contractors. He is an expert in the design of targeted questionnaires and survey instruments and routinely conducts in-depth interviews with customers of FMI’s clients and at FMI’s Leadership Institute.
Wallace received his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Appalachian State University and holds a doctorate in history from Boston College.
